For most of my adult life I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to be a mother. I loved my free life, I lived abroad, travelled often, met wondering people, did wonderful things and saw wonderful places. I gained experiences and skills in the Sales and Marketing field that could take me anywhere I wanted to go. I worked in corporate offices, as an independent sales contractor, for entrepreneurs and finally landed a great job at a manufacturing company, helping them grow their business. Every step of the way was preparing me for the toughest job of all. Motherhood. I didn’t know it at the time, but I was learning how to be patient, accept ambiguity, trust my own intuition and love myself. All skills that I would need as a mother.

When my son was first born I was transformed into a walking zombie who truly lost touch of who I was. I’m slowing finding out who I am now, day by day and step by step. I love watching my son grow, learn, explore and form into the funny, lovable toddler he is today. I hope that my experiences will help other moms like me cope with their new lives as mothers.
